Next, travel to the peaceful hamlet of Tinchuley, surrounded by dense forests and tea gardens. Witness stunning viewpoints, walk through the quaint village, and soak in the fresh mountain air.

Your final stop is Takdah, an old British cantonment town draped in mist. Stroll through century-old bungalows, visit ancient monasteries, and admire vibrant orchids at the famous Orchid Center.

Itinerary

Day 01: NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Sittong (38 kms / 2.5 hrs)

Meet and Greet on arrival at NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport and transfer to Sittong. This day you are driving along with embankment of the Teesta River. Overnight stay at Sittong. Sittong is in the Kurseong Sub Division of Darjeeling District and is famous for its orange Orchard. World-famous Darjeeling orange mainly produce here. Apart from that Sittong, nowadays a famous offbeat tourist destination for its serene beauty of Cinchona Plantation, breath taking beauty of Mount Kanchenjunga.

Day 02: Sittong Sightseeing

After breakfast and halfday sightseeing around Sittong. Today visit Ahaldara View Point, Jogighat Bridge,Sittong Monestry, Sittong Orange Orchard, Mongpu, Latpanchar, Lepcha Falls. Back to hotel. Overnight stay at Sittong.

Day 03: Sittong - Tinchuley (66 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast Check out from Hotel and transfer to Tinchuley. Enroute visits Lovers Meet View Point, Peshok Tea Garden, Lamahatta Eco Park and Tinchuley View Point. On arrival Check-in to the hotel. By evening you will walk around Tinchuley village. Overnight stay at Tinchuley.

Day 04: Tinchuley - Takdah

After breakfast then check out from the hotel of Tinchuley & transfer to Takdah. Takdah means mist or fog in lepcha language. Enroute visit Orchid Center, Barbatey Bridge, Pema Tshoiling Monastery, Takdah Monastery, British Bungalows and Takdah palace. On arrival Check-in to the hotel. By evening free at your own activities. Overnight stay at Takdah.

Day 05: Takdah – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (64 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport via Mirik for your onward journey.

What details are required to process my booking?

To process your booking, we require – 

  • Your name & contact number under which the booking will be registered
  • Your full list of people with their names, gender & age
  • Your arrival & departure details
What documents should I bring upon arrival?

Here are the following things you must carry – 

  • Copies of the hotel vouchers (provided within 4-6 working days after package confirmation)
  • One original valid ID proof (Voter ID/Passport/Driving Licence) and four Xerox copies per person
  • Note: PAN Card & Aadhaar Card are not accepted
  • For children below 18 years: Carry Aadhaar or Birth Certificate
  • Four passport-size photographs per person
  • The remaining balance payment (Cash/NEFT/DD; Cheques are not accepted)
What essential items should I carry?

Apart from your basic personal items, you must carry – walking boots, torch, spare batteries, water flask, cold cream, personal medicines & sunglasses. During winter times, carry feather jackets, or heavy woolen clothes. For summers carry light woolen clothes and a rainproof jacket during monsoon times. For Lachen & Lachung, carry heavy woolens as these regions remain cold year-round.

What is the payment process?
  • 40% advance payment is required to confirm the package
  • Bookings will not be processed without advance payment
  • 20% payment after receiving the hotel confirmation voucher
  • The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival
  • Credit card payments incur a 3% additional charge (strictly non-negotiable)
  • Kindly share your arrival details (train/flight number) for smooth scheduling
How does transportation work during the tour?

Due to limited parking space in Sikkim & Darjeeling, guests must wait in the hotel lobby for sightseeing/transfers. Vehicles will change sector-wise and will not remain the same throughout the tour. If a tourist spot is closed on the scheduled day and you wish to visit it later, extra vehicle charges will apply.

Note: Guests must adhere to sightseeing/transfers timing advised by our executive.

What is the package policy?

This itinerary serves as a suggested travel plan, and the company is responsible only for the services that have been paid for. Hotel check-in and check-out timings will be as per the respective hotel policies. While we strive to ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey, we cannot be held responsible for any additional costs, unforeseen losses, or injuries during the tour. If there are any concerns or claims related to the package, we kindly request that they be brought to our attention within a week for prompt assistance.

What are the terms and conditions?

Please note that refunds are not available for unused accommodations, missed meals, transportation, or sightseeing activities. Room allocation is done by the hotel depending upon the availability at the time of check-in in the category of room as specified on your confirmation voucher. While we ensure quality stays, we regret that refunds cannot be provided if hotel amenities or services do not meet personal expectations. Additionally, any extra expenses arising due to natural calamities, strikes, or roadblocks will need to be borne by the guest. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Can I modify my booking after confirmation?

Any modifications to the booking will be considered as cancellations. However, minor amendments may be accommodated with a communication charge, which will vary based on the specific case. We appreciate your understanding and will do our best to assist you.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be processed to the original payment source via A/C payee cheque and may take a minimum of 15 days to complete. Please note that no refunds can be provided for any unused services, regardless of the reason. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is designed to be as fair as possible while ensuring smooth operations. If a booking is canceled, a 40% cancellation fee applies from the date of booking. Cancellations made 30 to 15 days before departure will incur a 60% charge, while those made within 15 days of departure will be non-refundable. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided for cancellations due to weather conditions, government restrictions, or COVID regulations. However, we will make every effort to arrange alternative activities whenever possible, ensuring you still have a memorable experience.
